Actually, it is almost a concensus by Bible translators that the Passion Translation is not a translation but a comentary. It adds 50 percent more words and is not even close to being as accurate as many good translations out there. Brian Simmons forces his own views on scriptures and there is a reason that translations are not done by one person but a group of translators. I know that this will be poo pooed but Michael Brown said it is not a translation but a commentary. Even Simmons background as a translator was not accuate he was a church planter,

God's love never fails yet people go to hell? Does not mean God stopped loving those people. God has others he loves too. God gave a time line for those who chose not to love him so God could define when he would implement a barrier to those who do not love him from harming those he loves. Those who do not love God have no respect for those whom God loves. The reasoning of this clip is shallow in that it presumes God doe not love if he will not protect those who do not love him over the ones who do love God. A parent who will not protect their other children from a child who is dangerous to them does not love their other children. God rejects people who willingly will not stop hating him or his other children. God would be "unjust" to allow his children to be abused, hated and killed by another child of his without separating the children. God's love is not shallow if it were no one would have been saved.

We can easily discuss this without fear! Why? Because no one ever has gotten sent to Hell or ever will (if it's real) for questioning it's existence. We are saved by believing in Christ not Hell!

A few years ago, Holy Spirit began to destroy my notions on separation and blew up the penal substitutionary theory of atonement in my mind. The past several months, He has been opening my minds to the nature of His judgment and the fact that we've been sold a bill of goods that is rotten starting at about Augustine in the 5th century. I've learned a lot about the fact that God's judgment is aimed at restoration and absolutely not eternal torment. I'm learning so much and it's kind of scary to me because of how I know people in my circle will react. I've already told my wife and she really felt like I was being deceived.

It's interesting about recycling. Where I live I can do all the separating I want to but there isn't a place to dispose of it that will actually recycle it. BUT then Christ came to set us free,to buy us OUT OF SLAVERY ( Paul says we were slaves to sin, that doesn’t sound like free will to me) to HEAL US, TO RESTORE HUMANITY TO OUR TRUE ESTATE. In pursuit of those he loved, he invaded the very depths of that hell we have made for ourselves and one another ( and the planet and animal life ) - IN THE COSMOS, in history, in our own hearts- so as to drag us to himself ( to use the actual language of John 12:32).

I don’t have a problem with God being able to do anything, I just have a question I just have a problem with myself not being able to do everything, I don’t have free will, I free will for the small boring stuff but I’ve have Autism and that has screwed me up, it’s stopped me from getting married, I discovered I had autism at age 49 I’m 53 now, I’ve been diagnosed with gender Dysphoria of which I carry huge weight of guilt, both from the church, from how I think God is according to the charismatic church thing I came into aged 17 in 1988.

Agree totally God has called us by his name , it’s a season of The Deeper things of God to release to his Sons & Daughters to be co-laborers , co-creators & architects , builders , we are called to rule & reign , certainly With this understanding to Govern and bring these Truths to allow the Kingdom to be on earth as it is in Heaven so God has I trusted those whom he has called before the foundations of the world ( pre ordained) , IM VERY EXCITED , GRATEFUL AND EVEN FEEL HONORED that God would even allow us to steward and be allowed to steward and share these truths into the Earth , maybe ? we’re called to be Guardians of the Galaxies , God is still creating , truly it’s his Nature

How would you explain the sheep and the goats where Jesus throws the goats and Satan and his demons in the lake of fire to burn forever? Is it referring to the actual people or just their false identities?

I want to believe because I know God is love, I have experienced it. But I have questions, why would Jesus say that it would have been better for Judas if he had never been born. How could it be better to never have been born if everyone forgiven and saved?

Both "sides" have their opinions, but what does the Bible actually say? Matthew 25:31-36 says, "Then he will say to those on his left, “Depart from me, you cursed. . . And these will go away into ETERNAL punishment, but the righteous into ETERNAL life.” Revelation 14:9-11 says, "If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink the wine of God’s wrath...and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have NO REST, day or night." If they were annihilated out of existence, then the statement no rest day or night makes no sense. Revelation 20:10 says, "And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be TORMENTED day and night FOREVER and ever. . .Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if ANYONE"S name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." By the way, the word torment is translated from the Greek word Basanismos, and it means to torture. It absolutely does NOT mean to annihilate and put out of existence.

On the question about 7 minutes in.. For me the scriptures seem to go along these lines.. There is a punishment but not an everlasting punishment.. The fire of God may not be quenched but the purifying process to qualifying some souls who lived in rebellion on this side of the grave..may have to endure a longer process time in transitioning through a readiness to live in the presence power of God who is a consuming fire Jesus said a number of scripture along these lines..such as fall on the rock and be broken or the rock will fall on you and grind you to powder..or he who knows to do good but does it not shall be beaten with many stripes..but he who knows not shall be beaten with few stripes..another about not coming out thence til thou hast paid the last farthing.. Then Paul talking about a man's work being tried by fire..if those works were wood, hay or stubble they will be burnt up and he will suffer loss..but he himself will be saved yet so as by fire.. In short I believe in justice..a kind of merciful justice..but not automatically pardon for everything...

Why do soooo many people that clinically die and some for 10, 20, or even 30 minutes and are revived say there is no hell...God is unconditional love, all knowing, he does not allow his creation to suffer eternal torment, that just doesn't even make sense if you really think about it...why if he is all knowing would he create man knowing he would be weak and sin and then when he dies go to hell to suffer eternally, that is just ridiculous...the bible has been rewritten and interpreted by man so many times how are we to know what was changed or added...
